Rebekah Rachel-Moreno, CMT and Owner CAMTC # 37963
2005 honors graduate from Silicon Valley College/ Western Career College

Why did I create this small business?

A passion for helping others was present all my life due to my ability to empathize with their situation.

As a child I had been diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, lordosis, degenerative disc disease and TMJ. Countless hours in and out of doctor’s appointments, x-rays, MRI, braces, devices, and the threat of surgery. It was scary as child. I did attend several Physical Therapy sessions, but did not understand the importance of treatment nor its benefits being so young. My childhood had many limitations, but to my benefit I was able to avoid surgery to this day. Currently I experience many of the same aches, pains, and traumas each of you have felt on my table which enables me to be empathetic to you as an individual in pursuit of pain relief.

In 2005 I decided on changing careers from being a teacher to small children, to becoming teacher for adults on how to care for their bodies. Over the years I have worked with and on many individuals with similar musculoskeletal issues or health concerns, and together were able to come up with a plan for a better quality of life.

In 2013 I walked away from a corporate massage job to work in a more advanced and customizable massage atmosphere. I created R&R Therapeutic Massage for therapists and clients to have more control over their bodywork sessions. Here we work as a team to create an environment for wellness from massage, a self-care routine, exercises or stretching, and nutrition.

Here we treat you as family and we invest in our skill to help guide you to your best self.

Matthew Moreno, CAMTC #23358

Hi, my name is Matthew. I've been a CAMTC therapist for close to twenty years now and I've enjoyed working in the bay area for not only all the great clients I've had the pleasure to work on, but also the weather and culture are the things I could never give up.

I started my career working at places such as Massage Envy and a few high-end Spas within the Bay area, most notably in Napa, Brentwood and Walnut Creek. I've been trained and seen my fair share of unique services so I'm always trying to implement my own spin on things that are tailored for the client.

The clients I like working with the most are individuals in the gym or who are sports oriented and have an old injury or new injury and are passionate to get back out on the field or the weight rack. I am newly familiar with personal training, kinesio taping and stretching so I am looking to hone my skills in those areas over the next couple of years. As an athlete in my younger years, I can relate to how important it is for people to get back to doing what they love.

Let me be the deciding force that gets you back to peak performance. My goal currently is to offer more than the range of services I already do, learning how to implement a particular habit for a client to follow because it may be something they are not doing at home.

Knowing what the client will benefit the most from, will be something I need to convey with the utmost confidence. Between using an inversion table or self-care tools, to certain stretches or a slight adjustment to someone's overhead press. The desire to bring all my knowledge to the table will be the sole focus for everyone that is serious about their health and wellness.

No matter your age, let's get you on the table and ready to conquer your next milestone!

Karen Gamez, CAMTC #32218

With over a decade of experience as a massage therapist, I have striven to excel in my field to perfect my ability to heal the world with one massage at a time. I am the the type of therapist who enjoys using the modalities Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Massage. I have a passion to solve the pain you are feeling and create a plan to keep you well.

My journey started in 2008 because of the pain of those around me drove me to become a massage therapist.

From 2012-2017, I had the privilege of working at UCSF and then Sutter Women’s Health since 2019. My journey at these two hospitals led to my specialized certifications in oncology, pediatrics, and NICU massage therapy.

I am committed to ongoing education and growth.

Currently, I am working towards becoming a midwife while working at San Francisco General Hospital as a doula, supporting patients during labor and delivery.

My primary objective is to educate individuals on injury prevention through comprehensive wellness strategies.

I look forward to assisting you on your wellness journey!
